The Berkeley Group are well renowned for their prestigious developments throughout the South East of England. Kingsbrook Park is an example of the group''s commitment to creating desirable and sustainable developments which blend with the local environment.

Given the extensive use of stonework on the latest phase of the site and a strong desire to keep damage to a minimum, a decision was made to utilise glass reinforced concrete architectural dressings at cill, string, coping and door surround locations. As well as being much easier to handle than traditional cast or natural stone due to the light weight, the robust nature of the components ensured minimal post installation repair work was needed.

Whilst cills were built in as the masonry work progressed all remaining item were retro fitted. This included the substantive projecting first floor string which was one of the last items to be installed.

The resulting homes benefit from a traditional and elegant appearance which belies the modern approach which was taken in construction
